Congratulations!
The "Southern Comfort" tournament in Charlotte was anything but comfortable for Will and Steve's opponents last weekend. Steve moved his rating from 1680 to 1723, and Will went from 1574 to 1644. Many consider the 160 0plateau to be the first mark of Scrabble expertdom, and so way to go!

That is so AWESOME!
Congratulations to both of you.
Betty
Thank you! I am stunned by my recent run, but probably not as much as some of my past opponents, who undoubtedly are scratching their heads and thinking, 'Will Scott? Really?' I'm enjoying the ride, just the same.
Thanks! It was a great tournament. I'll try to post some reflections about it as soon as time allows.
