It's Official...June 1 Tourney in Richmond!

Hi everyone,

It's back!  I'm pleased to announce that NASPA-rated Scrabble is returning to the Bluegrass region, in the form of a 7-game, 1-day tournament on Saturday, June 1, at Cosmic Oasis in downtown Richmond.  Registration begins at 9:30am, with the first game starting at 10:00am.  Entry fee is $50, entry deadline May 28.  Since Cosmic is graciously providing its venue free of charge, we should have very nice payouts.

I'm even more pleased to announce that heading up the event is our newest Apprentice Director, Thom Hehl, who just recently passed his director's test and is eager to hit the ground running.  I'll be acting as Mentor (Co-) Director to assist and provide backup wherever needed.
