Janny got a kick out of my playing URINATOR today.   We both did when she looked up a definition.  On top of the obvious one, it also refers or at least used to refer to a diver, specifically for pearls most often.
Turns out it is from ancient Rome.  Urina is Latin for "urine" and "dive" is urinare.  Hence the confusing faux cognate.
