Thank you to Betty for forwarding me this information about our very own Lisa's new book!

* Ulysses Underground*:* the Unexplored Roots of U. S. Grant and the Underground Railroad* uncovers the 70 year effort to bring down slavery.  What happened in this corner of the world changed the nation. Come learn and celebrate!

> Saturday, May 23, at 1pm, the book will launch from the U.S. Grant Birthplace, just off highway 52 (15 miles east of 275  /  28 miles west of Ripley).      www.ulyssesunderground.com

> Bring a picnic lunch and eat under the trees where Big Indian Creek flows into the Ohio River. After delicious history, light refreshments will be served while G. L. Corum signs books.

Also on *Sunday, May 24, at 10am* at Red Oak Presbyterian Church (so integral to this history) we will reflect on this during worship and would be enriched by your presence.  Red Oak is 5 miles north of Ripley on the east side of 68/62 just before the roads divide.  Red Oak Presbyterian Church organized in 1798
