Survey on Sunday, 8/15 Club Session & 8/22 LCT

Hello, all, from St. Petersburg, FL -- my last day here; tomorrow I drive to Hilton Head, SC, for a weekend AWG (Alfred's Word Game -- you know, the game whose name rhymes with "dabble") tourney there.

Club members are asked to indicate whether or not they plan on being at our club session on Sunday, August 15, by leaving a response as a comment to this blog entry OR by e-mailing John (Have laptop; will travel.) at JMSinKY@aol.com .

The responses so far, as of Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 6:15 a.m., are:

1 will be able to attend: Victoria
9 will not be able to attend: Andrea, Eric, Jan, Janny, John, Margaret, Susie, Will, Steve
1 is unsure about attending: Andy

Additionally, we are having our August local club tournament on Sunday, August 22, with Steve Bush directing (I get to play!), and here are the responses so far, as of Thurs, August 19, 2010, at 10:23 a.m.:

15 will be able to attend: Andrea, Andy, Betty, David Moersdorf (Knoxville/Gatlinburg), Eric, Frank Schin (Knoxville/Gatlinburg), Jan, John, Marc Broering (Louisville), Margaret, Rob Kearn (Louisville), Steve (directing), Susie, Victoria, Will
1 will not be able to attend: Cheryl
0 are unsure about attending:

Our five-game local club tourney on Sunday, August 22, will again run from 3 p.m. to around 9 p.m. (meal break at Perkins after Round 3), with a $12 entry fee (pairing system and prize structure to be determined), and be dually rated by NASPA and WGPO (NASPA membership is required to play; WGPO does not require membership to play).

Have fun at club Sunday! I get home late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

John

No, Marc, the Chinese folks weren't using either OWL2 or SOWPODS as far as I could tell so I have assigned their comments to oblivion. Sorry to disappoint you.
